You know, I read over the last post on this blog and lordy sakes I have to say it again. "Oh look how long it has been since I blogged, blah blah blah, etc. etc." Well if anyone reads this thing and expects daily updates, boy are they in for a rude awakening. I used to have another old blog, but sadly its been deleted by me. Why you may ask? Well first of all because it was 4 years old, secondly as I read over it and over the one previous post in this one, I found myself more proud of the first post of this one. So, this is the one I decided to keep. I hope nobody is terribly troubled by this, somehow I doubt anyone is. With that being said, lets move on shall we. So, news, news, news. I'm married now! I know, pretty cool right? To be completely honest it IS pretty cool. I had told a friend the other day that my new wife wasn't feeling good and was in bed resting. After which he remarked, "take care of her, that's your job now." Which when I thought about it, gave me the warm fuzzies inside. I told him and he said that was a good thing. I'd have to agree. It really did make me feel good, that's a job I love having, and one I take very seriously. I hope I'm doing a good job of it. I guess all you can do really is do the best that you can and hope that you don't screw things up more. Oh, and at the end of the day just remember how much you love one another. That seems to be the key. Each time I find myself getting upset or aggrevated, I just say to myself, "remember how much you love her." Trust me, that simple thing goes a long way. It makes you realize that whatever is upsetting you usually isn't really worth arguing about and that all you want in the world is to make that other person happy. Its weird when I was younger I thought about marriage and I was unsure about it, unsure that someone else's happiness would ever be more important to me than my own. Here I am though fully aware of that fact. Its a great feeling to be honest, again, it gives me the warm fuzzies. Now then I steal shamelessly from a friend's blog and do something called a six word memoir. Basically its exactly how it sounds, you write your own memoir using only six words. There are a bunch of other rules that I decided I didn't really want to include here. More or less if you want to do this on your blog, go ahead and do it, if you don't....well, I can't blame you, its harder than it sounds. At least, it was for me.
